A. Hendrix, BS in Psychology, Master’s of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy-Candidate, Certified Sex Therapist-Candidate
I believe in empowering my clients to reach their full potential within themselves and in their relationships. People choose to come to therapy for many reasons. They may want to change something about themselves or about their lives. They may simply want a qualified therapist to help them explore different parts of themselves in an open and understanding environment. However, the goal will always be to bring about some positive change. I am experienced in working with couples and individuals who face varying difficulties, focusing on sexual and/or relational issues. Whether you are looking for education, or ways to communicate your needs to your partner, I am trained to assist you with these concerns.
Not only am I a Marriage and Family Master’s level clinician, I am also a Certified Sex Therapist-Candidate being further trained through the Texas Sex Therapy Institute. I believe that all clients have the right to explore their concerns, worries, hopes, and aspirations in an environment that is nonjudgmental and safe. I want my clients to feel free to discuss their lifestyles, sexual identities/orientations, and any other facet that may be affecting their lives. I am not only here for you as an interning therapist, but as a human who believes in the power of self-discovery and growth.
